5. No engine modifications are permitted, engine must be “Box Stock”. (The only exception to this rule is head shim selection, due to the racer’s fuel of choice and nitro content)
6. Cars must retain GT factory stock flywheels. (No lightening or removal of material permitted)

10. Cars must run Kyosho V slicks or Twister rally game rubber tires only.
11. Cars must use GT factory equipped shocks & factory black springs.
12. Cars must use GT factory installed shock towers. (Drilling additional location holes is not permitted)
13. Only GT factory available optional “braces”, suspension “blocks” and “sway bars” are permitted. Suspension modifications or “set-up” changes are permitted as long as they are GT available optional parts. Shock & Diff Oil changes are permitted.
13. Cars must all use GT factory stock “Blue” chassis. (No optional chassis or lightening of stock chassis is permitted)
14. Cars must use Kyosho or Twister “GT Super-Car or Sedan” type bodies with the rear wing available to specific body chosen by the racer.

16. Cars may upgrade brake pads & discs to improve performance.

All GT “Spec” class cars must receive “tech” inspections prior to the start of the "Qualifiers" and may be “Tech-Challenged” at the end of any “Main”.

1. Any minor equipment rule violations will result in a “warning” being issued and must be compliant prior to the next "IGT Series" event.
2. Any blatant rule violations or modifications to the GT car intended to produce an unfair advantage will result in racer disqualification and loss of entry fee.
3. If an illegal block, crankshaft, piston, sleeve, rod, carb, flywheel, clutch, header, muffler, or whatever modification is found, the offender will be penalized according to the “IGT Spec” rules.

These violations are considered are blatant because they are considered attempts to gain an unfair advantage. If a “Tech Challenge” is filed by a registered “GT Spec” racer against another, and/or deemed “valid” by the “Race Director” & “Tech Team”, the accused racer’s vehicle will be inspected after the “A Main” to check for legality.

If the “Tech Challenger” that initiated the “Post-A Main Tech Inspection” proceedings against the other GT racer, is found to have wasted everyone’s time, the “Tech Challenger” will have to reimburse the race entry fee to the “Falsely-Accused” GT racer right there on the spot.
